If you run a franchise portal, directory, matching site or exhibition platform with franchise brands as advertisers, you can offer white-label local visibility per location without building a team yourself. We handle Google Business Profiles, reviews, Apple Maps, Bing Places and GEO under your name, and you buy in with a 20% partner discount. Why it fits: in our own benchmark only 40% of 500 profiles of large chains were fully completed.
Why do franchise brands ask their franchise portal for more than leads?
A franchise brand advertises with you to find prospective franchisees. But head office has a second concern that comes back every month: are the existing locations found locally? A candidate who discovers a franchise brand on your platform often looks up the nearest location in Google Maps next. If it shows outdated opening hours or dozens of unanswered reviews, trust drops before any introduction has taken place.
In the market you also hear objections to the classic model of listings and packages: paying for visibility, even when little comes of it. In the article on weighing a portal against in-house recruitment we set out those views in a businesslike way, including where a directory is genuinely useful. A portal that delivers measurable location work alongside leads gives an advertiser a second reason to stay: results they see per location every month.
| Component | Classic model | Our approach |
|---|---|---|
| What the franchise brand buys | Listing or advertising package | Listing plus monthly location work |
| Where the value lies | Candidate sign-ups | Sign-ups and local visibility per location |
| What the franchise brand sees monthly | Number of views and sign-ups | Report per location in the portal's house style |
| Reviews | Out of view | Reply within 24 hours, every reply approved by a person |
| Contract form | Often per package or per period | Cancellable monthly, no annual contract |
What the benchmark shows about chains
For the Local SEO Franchise Benchmark 2026 we followed the 100 largest chains with 500 profiles. Only 6 of the 100 chains reply to reviews within 24 hours, those who do reply take 6.8 days on average and 90% demonstrably have no process for reviews. That is exactly the work your advertisers could use help with.
What does white-label location work earn a franchise portal?
You buy from us at our public rates minus a 20% partner discount. You set your own selling price. If we take the public price as the selling price, you keep the difference per location per month. The figures below are a fictitious worked example, all amounts per location and excl. VAT. There are no setup fees and no minimum volume.
| Package | Selling price per month | Cost with 20% discount | Margin per month | Margin per year |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | €199 | €159.20 | €39.80 | €477.60 |
| Growth | €400 | €320 | €80 | €960 |
| Full service | €600 | €480 | €120 | €1,440 |
| Strategy (per hour) | €65 | €52 | €13 | n/a |
| Package | Locations | Portal revenue | Cost from us | Portal margin |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | 12 | €2,388 | €1,910.40 | €477.60 |
| Growth | 30 | €12,000 | €9,600 | €2,400 |
| Full service | 8 | €4,800 | €3,840 | €960 |
| Total per month | 50 | €19,188 | €15,350.40 | €3,837.60 |
| Total per year | 50 | €230,256 | €184,204.80 | €46,051.20 |
How to read this example
Take a fictitious franchise brand with 50 locations: 12 on Basic, 30 on Growth and 8 on Full service. You then invoice €19,188 per month yourself, pay us €15,350.40 and keep €3,837.60, or €46,051.20 per year. One franchise brand with 25 locations on Growth yields €2,000 per month in the same fictitious example. If your portal charges a different selling price, the margin shifts accordingly. You choose the package per location, so a franchise brand can start small.

How does white label work under your franchise portal's name?
Your advertiser only sees your brand. We deliver, you keep the relationship. That is also how the sister sites localseobureau.nl and franchiseseo.nl by Gijs Bodenstaff work with their partners.
- Delivery under your name; we have no contact with the franchise brand or the locations, unless you want that.
- The franchise brand remains the owner of all profiles. We receive manager access, nothing more.
- We never approach your advertisers ourselves and never take them over.
- We report a negative review or a suspended profile to you within the hour.
The work itself is the same as for our direct clients: Business Profile management per location, Apple Maps and Bing Places, reputation management per location with a reply within 24 hours, location pages and GEO for franchise brands in AI search. AI drafts replies to reviews; a person reads and approves every reply before it goes live.
| Task | Portal | Franchise brand | Us |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sales and price agreement | Yes | Chooses a package per location | No |
| Access to profiles | Arranges the request | Remains owner, grants manager access | Works with manager access |
| Delivery of profiles, reviews, Maps, GEO | No | Supplies input from locations | Yes |
| Reporting | Forwards it under its own brand | Receives it per location | Produces it in your template |
| Invoicing | Invoices the franchise brand | Pays the portal | Invoices the portal per location per month |

What reporting does a franchise portal get per location?
Every month you receive a report per location in your template and house style. You can forward it straight to the franchise brand. The basis is reporting per franchise location, supplemented with geo-grid measurements: on a grid around the location we measure how it appears in Google Maps.
| Component | What you see | Why it matters to your advertiser |
|---|---|---|
| Profile completeness | Which fields are missing or inconsistent | Incomplete profiles cost trust |
| Reviews | New reviews and response time | Replying quickly shows someone is there |
| Geo-grid measurement | Visibility on a grid around the location | Shows per neighbourhood where the location appears |
| Apple Maps and Bing Places | Status of the listings | Not everyone searches via Google |
| GEO (AI visibility) | Outcome of fixed test questions | AI assistants increasingly name businesses |
| Alerts | Suspended profiles and negative reviews | You hear about it within the hour |
On what terms do we work with franchise portals?
The terms are short. No setup fees, no minimum volume and no annual contract: you cancel monthly. We invoice you monthly per location, never your advertiser. We give no ranking guarantees, because nobody can promise a spot in Google Maps or in an AI answer. Nor do we filter reviews: all customers get the same chance to leave a review, not just satisfied ones. Want to see how we work first? Read how a partnership unfolds.
When is white label not right for a franchise platform?
To be fair, it does not always fit. If you are mainly looking for extra leads for your advertisers, this is not the product. It also does not help if your franchise brands cannot or will not grant access to their profiles, or if you want to resell a ranking guarantee. And if your advertiser actually wants to speak to us directly, a regular partnership is simpler. In that case see who we work for, or the agency page on local SEO and GEO for marketing agencies.
It does fit if you want an offer that is measurable every month, with 936 franchise brands and 34,937 locations in the Netherlands as a market according to the NFV Franchise Statistics for 2025.
